Joy on Dec 5th

Taryn is so fun this year getting ready for Christmas. Last year she enjoyed opening presents, but she didn't "get" Christmas at all. This year we have been talking about Santa and snowmen and Christmas trees and she's starting to get excited. Her favorite decoration so far is the stockings. She loves that there is one for each person and she likes to point to each one and say who's it is! We have also been talking about why we have Christmas. Her little mind surprises me with how much it understands!

She's also been learning some Christmas songs. Her favorite is "Jing-y Bells" - at least that's how it sounds when she sings it.... Jingy bells, jingy bells, jingy bells, jingy bells...... (she hasn't quite memorized the rest of the song yet ;)
